IFDR 500


IFDR (Intelligent Fluid Delivery & Recycling) modules are the staple product that RBM produce.

They are installed to provide CNC coolant filtration using a set of pressure chambers to ensure that any coolant passing through is as pure as possible.

The primary reason you would use these is to ensure that your machining components (and system) is able to maintain an appropriate level of quality at the submicron level when dealing with higher volumes. The number of each IFDR module represents the capacity (in millilitres) contained in the tank.

The IFDR 500 product is typically used for instances where volume & capacity is a medium requirement (IE low – medium volume).

Features include:

  • Patented filtration system below 5 μm.
  • Integrated dynamic tramp oil separation system.
  • High-pressure coolant towards the spindle.
  • Reduction of the total volume of coolant used.
  • Reduction of maintenance costs due to the lack of filtering elements.
  • The increase in tool life due to the reduction of the polluting granulometry present in the coolant and to pressure
    and flow rate conditions required by the manufacturer.

Machining applications: –

  • Clean CNC coolant from abrasive micrometric metal rests that are formed during processing.
  • Remove all oily substances that stop on the surface of the coolant.
  • Reduce bacterial contamination of the emulsion, extending its life.
  • Relaunch the perfectly clean liquid in the working area to the maximum pressure required by the tool used.
